Dovetail Practice started in Boulder, CO in 2005 as a collaboration of Josh and Margaret Park Smith. They do ceramics, paint and graphic design. Josh has an MFA from the University of Kentucky and did a summer with Werkplaats Typographie in Urbino, Italy. Margaret studied at Penland, Alfred, Lillstreet and earned her MFA from the University of Minnesota.
