AMDC PRESENTS "BREAKABLE"




The American Design Club in association the Heller Gallery will curate and present a collection of contemporary design based on the theme of Glass. The curators
will consider and select work from submissions with glass as the primary focus.
The theme will highlight work that can do new and interesting things with the material. As always, the aim of the show is to present excellence in new American Design, based on the theme, in the best possible setting. The work will be judged by a panel to be decided.


The theme for BREAKABLE is glass. Glass must be used as the primary material if not the
only material. There will be an emphasis on selecting new work for the show. A time line
for production must be include with all submissions. You need be neither “American” nor
a “Designer” to submit, membership to the American Design Club is assumed once your
work has been exhibited in an AmDC show.





Important Dates




BREAKABLE submissions will close FEBRUARY 28th, 2010.
Submissions to be received no later than midnight on February 28th.
Breakable will coincide with ICFF 2010. May 15-18. Exact launch date is TBD.
