The Astra series of lamps explores variations of single form through experiments of texture with the Hydrus iteration emphasizing verticality. Designed to be just as evocative when they are not illuminated compared to when they are, playing with the shadows that form across surfaces. The design utilizes 3D printing to fabricate the lamp shade.
